The logbook is organized into three main sections:
Tests, Hardware and Software
Tests is thought to be the main logbook for everything related to
testing, running of configurations, observations, etc.
It is further subdivided into tests performed on Bldg32 and on LXSHARE. This
reflects the fact that integration is usually first done on bldg32 and only the
tried on LXSHARE.
The Hardware and Software logbooks are there to log specific
observations on the testbeds or on the software. I.e. set up,
(non)-availabilities, failures etc. of machines and network kit. Or general
issues regarding the software releases or patches to be used etc.
To add an entry, press the 'new' link and add your comments. You also have to
provide a name and a subject.
To reply to a specific logbook entry, simply use the 'reply' button. This is
also benefitial when reading the logbook, because it will create a thread.
You need a passwd for submitting an entry - this is ment to be a simple access
control for writing and should simply prevent us from getting spam from outside
people.
If you have comments and/or additional wishes regarding the use (or usability)
of this tool, please let Hans-Peter
